Halloween

We had a great Halloween weekend. Ryan was Harry Potter and Luke was Harry's bestfriend Ron Weasley. Since my favorite books are from the Harry Potter series, I've been wanting to dress them up as these two characters since I found out I was pregnant with 2 boys. When asked, Ryan said he is "Harry Totter" and Luke said he is "Won" (pronounced like Juan). On Friday we went the Children's Museum's Trick or Treat Street and on Saturday we went to a few houses on our street and to Aspen Grove shopping center for a costume parade and trick or treating at the stores. We had many compliments on their super cute costumes and I, of course, thought they were the cutest kids there.

We called Nana and Grandad last night on Skype so they could see the boys in their costumes. They both got their treat buckets and pulled out almost every piece of candy to show them - I think every one that Ryan pulled out was his "favorite." This morning they both went downstairs and were quiet for a good hour, buying Greg and I an extra hour in bed (especially nice since they didn't get the memo to sleep in an hour later do to the time change). As we had predicted, they had got into their candy (I had put it up, but not out of reach of them pulling chairs over). They apparently had 2 lollipops and M&Ms for breakfast. Oh well, it was totally worth it for us to sleep a little longer.

Pumpkin carving with Daddy.

Another part of our Halloween day was sledding in our backyard. The snow was so deep it was really hard to get a good trench for the sled, but it ended up being perfect for them. It was so warm out by Saturday that I was wearing snow pants and a t-shirt - crazy weather.

Lastly, short video the boys on the little train at the Children's Museum.
